JSC Avangard was established in 1992 through the privatization of the experienced and innovative flour grinding production plants of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Grain.

From 1992 to 2003 Avangard produced rye bread, whole-wheat and rye flour with 63% extraction, and took a strong position in the market of rye flour in the Siberian region.

From the very beginning of the 2000s, the board of directors of the company have been refining a new strategy for the development and implementation of a number of investment projects.

In 2003, the wheat grinding line of the Turkish company Ana Group was purchased, installed and put into service with a processing capacity of 60 tons of grain per day.

Recently, new production by Avangard has won positions in the wheat flour market in the Siberian region and has become increasingly in demand by consumers, bread factories  and bakeries.

In 2006 the enterprise Avangard-Khleb was established to develop bread production, and new equipment was acquired and installed in the bakery, increasing capacity to 4 tons of bakery products per day.

In 2011, Supermill 31-75, the modern automated mill complex for the grinding of wheat, was established and put into service. It is a complex which is part of the Turkish company GencDigermen, and has a processing capacity of 80 tons of grains of wheat per day. This mill with the computer automation became the most modern enterprise in the city of Novosibirsk in the flour grinding sector.

In 2012, an operational workshop for bulk storage with weighing equipment at a rye-wheat grinding mill was created as an addition to the existing equipment for bulk storage of flour in a wheat grinding mill. The implementation of this project has significantly increased the shipment capacity of bulk flour for large consumers in Novosibirsk.

In 2013, a new warehouse for flour storage was built and put into operation.

In 2014, the modernization of the elevator farm was started. The drying complex of the British firm Perry, two new separators, and reducers on the elevator were purchased and put into operation.

In 2015, type production building of a metal-frame was built with an area of 1500 square meters
